What is the typical sleep current of the Columbus V-2000?

The V-2000’s current consumption in Sleep Mode can vary depending on factors such as ambient temperature and the status LED.

With the standard firmware, the sleep current typically fluctuates between approximately 50–1,000 μA. When the status LED flashes (approximately once every 10 seconds), there may be brief peaks above 1,000 μA.

When measured over a longer period, the average sleep current is approximately 75–100 μA.

For battery-life calculations, 75–100 μA is the more representative value for average Sleep Mode power consumption.
