Won't Connect to COM3

Just got the Columbus V-800. Installed the PL2303 driver and the GnssToolKit to the Microsoft Surface Go 2 tablet.

Selected COM3 Port and 38400 Baudrate.

Worked great until I unplugged the V-800 from the USB Port while everything was running. This appears to have damaged the V-800.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the PL2303 driver, but it didn't help. The green light on the V-800 still blinks on and off, but I can no longer connect to COM3. COM3 shows up in the drop-down menu, but clicking on it does not cause a connection.

Is my V-800 permanently damaged, or is there a fix? Thanks.

Its working now. After giving up and shutting the tablet off. I decided to give it another try. The shortcut for the GnssToolKit3 did not work, so I reinstalled the GnssToolKit3. Works good.

Any comments or suggestions? Thanks.
