How to Install the Prolific PL2303 USB GPS/GNSS Driver for MacOS?

The Prolific PL2303 is a widely used USB chip in many GPS/GNSS devices on the market, such as the Navisys GR-U01 and GR-M02 USB GNSS receivers. Follow these steps to install the MacOS driver:
1.Open the App Store on your Mac, search for “PL2303 Serial,” and install the application.
2.Go to System Settings → General.
3.On the right-hand side, under the Extensions section, locate Driver Extensions and click the exclamation mark.
4.Enable the PL2303Serial switch on the right to activate the driver.
Once completed, the driver should be successfully installed and ready to use.
